So -5 overnight here in Canberra.
Above is a frosty scene found out doing the rounds with the Kelpie of Few Accomplishments this morning.
Tips for keeping warm overnight?
Enjoy the bright clear, albeit cold, day we’re going to have.

yeah but they’ve had snow. Everything’s better with snow (except driving)
Even massive earthquake damage?
Spare a thought for Christchurch who have just had their coldest ever day at 0.4 degrees. Weather readings began in 1863.

dungfungus – Big W has electric blankets. Don’t worry, the electricity solar produces is identical to that produced by any other means.
Or did you mean a solar powered blanket?
In that case, get a blanket, and sleep under the sun. The darker the blanket colour, the warmer it’ll be.

Eh?
Think he means his dog…
Yeah, I know. I’m just amazed a Kelpie could be low in the achievements department.
Can’t wait for global warming to kick in now that electricity prices are increasing.
Anyone know where I can get a solar powered electric blanket?
Even when it’s -5 an electric blanket is a bit overkill when you share the bed with one child, one dog and 3 cats of various shapes and sizes, I discovered last night. It was awesome to get back into bed after making that first coffee though. The heating doesn’t quite cut it when it gets that cold.
I’m not getting out of bed! And when I do, I’ll probably go shopping for long warm knee socks with pompoms.

If only there was a way to search.
But correct, should have been accomplishments.
It is awesome out there at the moment. A ride to work usually takes longer for me now because ever kilometre has a different landscape to capture. Some iPhone pics:
