Spelling win on Henty Street

the friend who was with me when i took the photo sent me an mms this morning showing that moves are underway to fix the spelling error. TAMS spotting the mistake for themselves upon inspection or had it brought to their attention by RA? probably the latter 🙂

Clearly the work of an amateur … any signwriter who’s cut his teeth would have found/made space for an apostrophe or a hyphen.

Discount Tyres have a good example: ” TYRE PROFFESSIONALS” in writing two feet tall on the front window of more than one of their stores.

You don’t need any qualifications to be a signwriter. Says it all really.

It’s all part of the government’s affordable housing program. Shave costs by dropping a letter here and there.
