ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to property damage at a development site in Stromlo over the weekend.
Police attended the development site on Cotter Road, Stromlo around 7.30am today (Monday, July 11), where a number of pieces of machinery and a portable toilet had been damaged. A small amount of property was also stolen from the site.
It is believed the damage occurred between 5pm Friday (July 8) and 5.30am today, where an unknown number of offenders forced entry into the secure development site.
The estimated value of the items stolen and damaged is $35,000.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour around the Stromlo area over the weekend to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
