Yes, since I lost a lot of weight on my black coffee, mango and vodka diet (patent pending) I can’t help but be smug when I look at people who do not put their health first. (-:
All in the same glass? If it tastes as good as it sounds, it’s a surefire diet plan.
The upper level Club Lime in Gungahlin has treadmills that point down to a Cold Rock right across the road…

Its amazing how feeling just and superior can motivate one to lose weight. Anytime Fitness at Tuggers is a prime example on the cardio equipment. You look out onto the shoppers leaving the Hyperdome eating ice creams, smoking and generally being unhealthy. Reminds me why I exercise 🙂
Apart from the fact their cigarette smoke comes thru the windows.

Not unlike the former Baskin Robbins store directly outside Fitness First in the Canberra Centre.

I use Club Lime Gym, in Oatley Cct Belco, just around the corner from here. Next door is Ruchi Indian Restaurant. Many a Friday night gym session has been rounded of by a quick nip in next door for a takeaway!
I’ve been having a good giggle at this. The Cheesecake Shop sign says they are baked on the premises so presumably the smell penetrates into the Weight Watchers building, while everyone is having a good collective whinge about being fat. I bet some drive back the next day for what they smelt cooking during their meeting. And back next week for a whinge.
They really are two different states of the same thing, ie fat. I think that is the ‘philosophical’ edge to JB’s question on which came first. Like chicken and egg, but fattier. They feed off each other. It would be perfect if they were owned by the same people…

The Cheesecake shop has been there for years. Weight watchers only opened there very very recently. Used to be an indian clothing store (according to street view on google maps)
Yup, been there for many years. The fact that it survives there is a testament to the distance people are willing to travel for cheesecake. Looks like they have updated their signage recently though.
I asked the WW area manager that just recently.. she says it was a strategic move..
Love it. At Kippax there’s a gym next door to a Pizza Hut and I’ve often wondered how many customers they share. Don’t know which came first there but Google maps also shows a soft drink machine in the foyer of the gym which is another delightful incongruent partnership (assuming of course that it stocks more than over-priced water).
