I think Zed could only come out of this a winner. The biggest advantage the Labor hacks had was that at least the public knew who they were. As this has dragged on, the only measurable result is that more people then ever know Zed exists. If he could add having a policy or two to that, the election would be a lock.

It’s going to be a very dirty election campaign at this rate, which is moronic because there’s no need for it to be.

If Labor plays it’s cards right, it can jettison the Stanhope era trash while still scoring points off the achievements of that era. They swapped leadership early and smoothly enough to be able to do that.

Add to that the Libs are useless as always and the swing in the community is definitely against the Greens, they even stand a good chance of regaining government in their own right.

But no, they’re going to sling mud. It’s the Labor way these days. They sling mud, the Libs just say no, and we’re all poorer for it.

In the spirit of Katie Gallagher’s federal colleagues’ outrageous support of Craig Thomson, frankly I’m inclined to let this, way lesser, issue slip past.

The report says that overall it supported the view of Mr Faulkner….in lieu of any other evidence they have taken his word. If the Government or the Greens had any other evidence then surely the findings would have been different.

I agree with what was said on 666 ABC this morning in that it’s not going to really be remembered in six months time at the election, and for me personally I feel it’s all been a waste of time on the part of the Government and too early an attempt to increase suspicion of the opposition.

Doesn’t every voter want their Government to stand on their own merit? Policies Katie and Zed please.
