If you’ve reached the end of the year and you’re feeling surprisingly well rested, you’re probably not alone.
New data released by IKEA shows that Canberrans were obsessed with sleep in 2025, with half of the top 20 products sold at the big blue box at Majura Park and to Canberrans online involving getting some serious ZZZZs.
The mattress most coveted by Canberrans in 2025 was the VALEVÅG pocket spring mattress in a Queen (firm) followed by the exact same mattress but extra firm. According to sales data, our kids sleep on the hugely popular ÅFJÄLL foam mattresses in single.
After a hard day at work, thousands of Canberrans head to bed with a KLUBBSPORRE ergonomic pillow, and are likely to have a HEMNES day-bed in the spare room or the sun room for lounging about on the weekend.
But the number one product we purchased in 2025 doesn’t involve sleep at all.
