Hoang Nguyen has been appointed as the next General Counsel for the Environment and Dispute Resolution Branch of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
Ruth Sparks has been appointed as Assistant Director-General for Enterprise Workforce at the Australian Submarine Agency.
Alicja Mosbauer has been named as Chief Data Officer in the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Sarah Proudfoot has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) after acting in the role since February. Ms Proudfoot has worked in the ACCC since 2005, performing senior roles including executive general manager of the Infrastructure Division and executive general manager of the National Anti-Scam Centre.
Glyn Davis has announced his resignation as Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, effective 16 June.
Since the federal election was called on 28 March, the Australian Government was in a caretaker period in the lead-up to the election on 3 May. Until the new government is sworn in today (13 May), government operations are conducted in accordance with the caretaker conventions.
