Really — Microsoft has abandoned Silverlight? That’s surprising, seeing they issued a new release of Silverlight on their website just six or seven days ago. It’s one of a number of browser plugin sites that I monitor daily for updates.

The writing is on the wall for Silverlight. Even though Microsoft haven’t officially announced it, their dev team are moving (like everyone else) to HTML5:

Is that kinda like when Woolies, after screwing farmers all year, had a ‘Backing Our Farmers Day’ so they could say how good they were to farmers? Wouldn’t it just have been easier to simply not screw the farmers so much in the first place? Then again, they don’t seem to have Backing Our Farmers Day anymore, so I suppose they just do the former now! Hahahaha!
