Violin teacher recommendations

My son is growing faster than I thought and it’s time to look into violin classes.

I heard that all good teachers have waiting lists so I would love to get in soon.

Can anyone recommend me a good teacher?

What is the best age to start the classes?

My son is turning 3 soon. He watched a few violin concerts and would like a violin. Im sure that if he saw a piano pleyer he wouldask for a piano. I dont think they know what they want at this stage. I want to start with violin because its harder. If he starts piano he will not go back to violin…

If the tutor is good I don’t mind travelling although I do prefer north side.

Do you have a preferred area of Canberra?

I don’t know, myself, but Simon Daly, an instrument maker and repairer in Kambah, can probably put you on to someone. (He might even teach himself – not sure).
