ACT Policing is requesting the public’s assistance in relation to an incident involving a taxi in the early hours of Thursday (August 15) morning.
Around 12.30am, whilst driving on Ashley Drive, Wanniassa, the taxi was involved in an incident with three other vehicles, one described as being a yellow utility.
An occupant of the yellow utility is believed to have exited the vehicle and approached the taxi and engaged in a confrontation. This man is described as being of Caucasian descent and about 25 years old. He is about 180cm (5’11”) tall with a slim build, wearing a green and white hooded jumper.
A second unidentified male also approached the taxi prior to the taxi driving away.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, or has information on the identity of the yellow utility, its owner or anyone else involved in this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
