Will be interesting because I reckon there will be a high proportion of below the line voting in Canberra. The ABC computer has it by less than 1% and this is the first time in my memory they haven’t got the quota outright.
Was that 1% local or national? I would expect it to be higher here simply because it was so much easier! 27 vs 110

My guess is that below the line votes will go against Zed by at least 7-1, and quite possibly as much as 20-1. (tip: I’m thinking about the extremely high relative hipster quotient of below the line voters)
I reckon the greens might finally have cracked the nut of an ACT senate seat.

well, its not official but Zed, may just sneak in a quota by a % on the ABC computer modelling, although reality is i think there was a lot of below the line voting, which may benefit one over the other. I think given he is just short of first preferences of a quota he’ll get in, but maybe thats all we needed, to say hey the liberals don’t have a safe senate spot in the ACT and as its voted on every 3 years, its not long to make up for the BS in politics.
Maybe that’s why Zed’s supporters can’t be bothered taking down their advertising material near our school. All the others are gone
Well at last count, two of the Liberals low altitude fliers have negative primary swings against them still, Zed Seselja and Elzabeth Lee. Should be a lesson for the Canberra branch to try harder with the talent instead of offering us egotists.
