Or, of course, they are recent(ish) arrivals who dont speak very good english and have names that are in fact made up (rather than their own names) or which are attempts to be phonetic versions of their true names.

Generally when you see a sentence that reads ‘our speciality include’ – getting the plural versions of words incorrect – it is a sign of poor but not native english. Most people born in an english speaking country will get this right (even if the spelling is wrong), but many foreign languages do not have the same concepts of plurality.
