So what extras does one get being a paid subscriber?
I’ve also been working with a few of our advertising partners to put together a list of premium member benefits that will be exclusive to RiotACT readers and Corporate members.
For regular punters have lined up home energy audits, free personal training classes, movie tickets, budget planning/coaching, discounted travel insurance, and free books from some great local authors…
Corporate members will be getting access to discounted and free advertising offers, our service directory, job board (which we hope to build soon), Corporate rates on qantas club and virgin lounge, conversation watchlists, executive mindset and business coaching, HR consulting and a series of business webinars..
I’m looking to add to both of those as we build up towards releasing our new membership programs in 2014

You get a chance to correct the grammatical error you spot in your post attacking someone else’s grammatical error.
Special offers, nifty gravatars, the ability to edit comments, and a warm sense of righteousness (amongst other things)

JB do you find you need to make up for the “freeness” with any dark datamining? Reason I ask is that I get “malware”, “physhing” warnings from time to time and can’t access the site … doesn’t happen with any other sites.
Or is it corporate sabotage by your competitors?
those occasional issues come from just not having enough money to keep the site running properly.

Masquara that was a technical issue which we believe is resolved following recent upgrades.
Great news! I’m all in favour of the RA going ahead in leaps and bounds.
I do have to admit though, that I don’t understand what it means. What does it mean that RA has the best Search Strategy? Google searchesfro stuff turn up RA in their answers? Searching RA is easy?
Enlightenment please, for the dim and technologically challenged…or social media challenged…among us.
Basically: write that which is worth reading.
Ben Franlin’s line but award winning it seems in the dark world of 2013.
Ah, JB, if it were up to me, you’d win a splendid medal just for sarcastic headlines, regardless of defending freedom of speech, or providing people with a platform, or anything fancy like that.
You’d also get something to clean this gong.
Something called Barcham. 🙂
