What was that big grey plane?

I was driving over Commonwealth bridge yesterday at around 2pm and noticed a massive plane (possibly a jumbo?) flying northbound over the lake.

It was all grey, does anyone know what it was?

Nothing shows up here ( http://webtrak.bksv.com/cbr ) at that time, which would suggest it was Military or more likely Aliens or even Military Aliens, or maybe even Sharks with frikin Lasers!

Guessing it was a RAAF C-17 Globemaster?

Our ones are all grey and look exactly like the USAF ones except for the RAAF markings on the side.

I saw it too, it was flying low over Mitchell/EPIC at about 1:50pm. It turned and went around the other side of Mt. Majura, presumably to land.

The lack of commercial markings makes me think it was an Air force plane
