I’m relatively new to Canberra and need to urgently find a shop that sells pre-made vegetarian lasagnes. I’ve tried Coles and Woolworths, but they only sell beef lasagnes.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

more pressingly…how does a vegetarian lasagne become considered urgent?
I could see the need for an urgent vegetarian lasagna – imagine putting on a dinner party when you find out on short notice that one or more of your guests is a vegetarian and have no idea on recipes/don’t have time to put something together.

Where’s the beef?
On the cow, where it belongs.
…hanging in your butchers cold room.
dandee, is that the same Deli Van that is on Sulwood drive on some days during the week? The website isnt much use yet by the way, but good to keep an eye on.

My mum sells them from her deli van at the Woden Farmers Markets on Sunday as well as a bunch of other tasty vege pastry type treats. 🙂

I am not a vegetarian, but make vegetarian lasagnes all the time nearly from scratch (I purchase the lasagne sheets). They are easy, and with vegetarian lasagnes you can really let your imagination run wild. Pumpkin, fetta, spinach, tofu and rosemary is my spouse’s favourite, while I enjoy eggplant, mushroom and tomato.

Forget about vegetarian crap altogether and eat some real food. Your local butcher can provide further details.
Superbarn in Civic sells them and the Griffith shops would be a good place to try too
Problem solved!
The amazing people at Fruitylicious in Gungahlin will make one for me.
Thanks for the Cook and Grocer suggestion – the lovely lady there put me onto Fruitylicious.
Simply Fresh Fruit Markets do good single servings of veg lasagna, you might be able to convince them to sell you a whole one? Good luck!
If your in the far north or have an inclination to travel in that direction, try the Cook and the Grocer:

Pond sludge mixed with stinging nettles would taste better than a coles/woolies prepackaged lasagne.
How many do you need ?
Fyshwick Markets has a few great delicatessens and an organic producer maybe you could try them.
I would have thought it easier to make it myself really – rather than pfaffing around town – but that depends on how many you need.
