ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Kingston Post Office this afternoon (Wednesday, 4 May).
Around 1.55pm a man entered the Kingston Post Office armed with a kitchen knife and approached the staff members, demanding money.
The staff complied with his demands and he left the post office, before driving away in a blue Hyundai Excel. The offender abandoned the car on Cunningham Street and the same vehicle was later found burnt out at that location.
The car is suspected to have been stolen.
The man is described as 183cm (6’) tall with a medium build. He was wearing a khaki green trench coat, black shoes, blue jeans and had a black stocking over his head.
