Detectives from Criminal Investigations Crime Targeting Team have arrested a 29-year-old woman overnight for property offences.
Around 12.50pm yesterday (Friday, August 12), police stopped and searched a vehicle on Corinna Street in Phillip. During the search, police found a sum of cash, as well as other suspected stolen items. An amount of substances, suspected to be heroin and cannabis were also located in the vehicle.
The woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, August 13), charged with theft and two counts of minor theft.
A 33-year-old man will be summonsed to face court at a later date on drug related charges.
