Two fire trucks, two ambulances, two fire brigade 4wds and at least one police car at the IP australia building in Woden.
Anyone know why?

I heard they’re going to close northbourne ave because of the increased threat of terrorism
Okay, so if I read this right there were a couple of Alien terrorists who crash landed their mothership into a building in Woden and the IT geeks inside had to be conveyed to the eye hospital for specialist care, whilst Fire brigade, police and trades people assisted in the cleanup????

Don’t be ridiculous. It was clearly an alien mothership on fire.
Ahhh, the explains the hugh, ugly, monstrous shape I saw. It was either that or Costco.
Don’t think it was on fire though, that must have been a different mothership.

Terrorists on fire. Hiding.
Well, as long as they managed to put the fire out, I suppose that’s a job well done…
There was also a kerfuffle in town, when a couple of pedestrians momentarily delayed passage of a tradie’s ute. The outcome could have been tragic, requiring the attendance of several appliances and some cops, but fortunately, the ladies in question hopped merrily onto the kerb and the tradie could once again move from the brake pedal to the accelerator.
Did someone just say there were terrorists at Canberra Airport this morning?!!!

there was some fire kerfuffle around the airport this morning too, a couple of those giant yellowish fire engines on the runway area near Fairbairn, and another behind Costco/Brand Depot.
So you saw aviation fire trucks at an airport? Put 2 and 2 togther and get 5.

Someone stole the departments intellectual property, putting the dept into meltdown and ESA didn’t know quite how to respond?
Isn’t that how it goes with IP – no one knows how to respond?!
Kerfuffle also in Wormald Street Symonston at lunch time, fire, police, and ambulance all in attendance at the building next to the eye hospital (Salmat?). I have no idea why.
