A 60-year-old woman died at a rural property near Batemans Bay yesterday after a tree fell on the tractor she was operating.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the woman’s death.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Benandarah, north of Bateman’s Bay, at about 11.45am yesterday after receiving reports a woman was trapped under a tree.
Police were told the woman was clearing land on the property when a tree fell on the tractor she was operating.
She died at the scene.
