The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACT RFS) Rivers Brigade will conduct a small hazard reduction burn tomorrow from 12.00pm till 2pm, Saturday 30 April, 2011 weather permitting, at Attunga Point near the Canberra Yacht club on the eastern side of Lake Burley Griffin, Yarralumla.
The purpose of the burn is to reduce a fire hazard and provide a training opportunity for RFS volunteers.
Three tankers, and 10 personnel will conduct the burn covering a total area of approx two hectares
