ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a vehicle fire at an apartment complex on Tank Street in Phillip this morning (May 1).
Around 6.00am this morning, police arrived at the apartment complex where ACT Fire and Rescue were working to extinguish a gold Ford Falcon which was parked in a carport at the complex. Police assisted ACT Fire and Rescue to evacuate residents from several nearby units as a standard safety precaution.
Around 6.50am the fire was extinguished and residents were able to return to their units. The rear part of the vehicle sustained damage due to the fire.
