The first National Vintage Guitar & Amp Weekend is coming up in Canberra on March 21-22 (Sat 10am – 10pm, Sun 10am – 6pm) at the Statesman Hotel in Curtin.

Here you can get hands on with a very large number vintage and rare acoustic, electric, resonator and lap steel guitars plus classic valve amplifiers. Some items are for sale and we also provide free appraisals for pre-1984 vintage guitars and amps if you wish to bring one in.

coulda sworn there was somewhere else to post about this and i said there i was excited about cw stoneking at the playhouse, as is ms astro, and we can’t wait to get swamped by that thick kickin’ delta blues. so of course we have to try the ‘from north’ noodle house pre-gig and see if wig and pen have lost anything on their usual high standard…

but mebbe i was dreamin’?
