I have seen chickens grazing in people’s front yards and out onto the footpath in Canberra.

Had one rock up in our back yard before Xmas couldn’t find its owner so it just knocks around with our chooks and lays heaps of blue eggs

I used to see an escapee chicken out along the lower end of Dryandra street quite regularly when I used to frequent that area.
