As seen in Lyneham on Wattle St around lunchtime today.
It’s amazing what seems like a good idea around 4am isn’t it?
On the other hand, cheaper than the public art program!

A trolley appeared beautifully balanced on top of a pay parking sign in front of Juliana House in Woden about a week ago. Someone either has too much time on their hands or too much alcohol in their system

It is better looking than the pile of rocks on coloured wood on the GDE.
And when you count fines and cost of trolleys and such – it still probably cost a fraction of what the rocks cost us.
We should employ drunk uni students to make our public art for us.
that wood and rocks ‘art’ you speak of is the worst public art in the history of the world, surely. blo&dy ridiculous.

I saw that and thought something similar. It was so high and so well balanced on such a small surface. I’m pretty sure that it would have taken more than one person to do this, probably several working in close communication. I actually admire the teamwork skills that got the bugger up there.
I saw it in the evening, so maybe it was as a result of one of those hideous team building exercises we are forced to endure at planning days

I also recognised a fast approaching mid life crisis when my main comments were about, “why don’t they put that amount of energy into finding a job”. Officially old now- bring on the letters to the editor.
scrulpture?
Also, this is much better than that misplaced package in Civic.

Damn straight. Though I drive past this every day and I cant say I’ve noticed the trolleys.

Oops, think I may have been an intersection too early. Anyway, after having a sign on the dash that read “please don’t tow I will collect it tomorrow” the Excel finally did get towed away, haha.

Great – that’s $400 for the trashed one in the tree, that Lyneham IGA will now recoup from customers …
Although this guide is specific to the US it’s still a useful refrence point:
