On Sunday morning a human sign saying “Clean energy for eternity” will be formed at Reconciliation Place. Anyone interested should turn up at about 10.30 and a helicopter will take pics at 12. Marginally more details here.
“Camelot” kicks off across the border . Nope, they probably won’t be meeting the knights who say “Ni”, but there will be routines and chorus scenes with footwork impecable. Performances tonight and tomorrow night at 8pm , plus two matinees tomorrow and Sunday at 2pm, at the Quenbeyan Convention centre. Book through Canberra Ticketing – continues next week.
Also the School for Scandal continues its gossipy way at Canberra Rep – performanes tonight and saturday at 8pm, plus a matinee tomorrow at 2pm and a twilight performance at 5pm on Sunday. Continues until Saturday 14th.
Not quite the weekend but on Monday evening the SNOWYfest International Film Festival Thredbo will be having a BEST OF SNOWYFEST 2006 screening at Electric Shadows. Kick off 6.30pm

Crave – who are progressive metal – similar to tool or muse,
Spoil – straight up old school metal – think pantera but with more groove,
Variodivers – who are catchy electro/pop/rock – Similar to Regurgitator,
Little smoke – kind of tribal progressive
Dubba Rukki – who I think are funk but am not 100% sure..
