ACT Policing is currently investigating a suspicious house fire in Farrer which occurred on Saturday evening (December 11).
About 7.20pm ACT Fire Brigade (ACTFB) were called to the house on Hawkesbury Crescent Farrer where they extinguished a fire in one of the bedrooms of the house. Upon further inspection two other fires appear to have been lit in different areas of the house and garage however both fires had self extinguished.
ACT Policing were notified and attended the house. No one was home at the time of the fire and no residents in surrounding homes were required to evacuate.
AFP Forensic Services attended the scene and conducted an examination. Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
