ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred in Kippax early this morning (Thursday, December 23).
Around 3.20am a man entered the West Belconnen Leagues Club and threatened three staff members at gunpoint. The offender tied the victims up and took a sum of cash.
The victims were not injured and after the offender left the premises they managed to free themselves and call Triple Zero.
The offender is described as 180cm (5’11”) tall, wearing a black balaclava, blue overalls and black gumboots.
Police are urging anyone who saw a man in the area at the time of the offence to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
