ACT Policing arrested a 53-year-old Evatt man yesterday (Monday, February 7) for drug trafficking charges.
The man was arrested around 3pm yesterday by Criminal Investigations Drug Investigations team detectives.
A search warrant was executed on the man’s house yesterday afternoon, where detectives seized 14 grams of heroin, with a street value of $7000-8000. A vehicle and cash were also seized.
He was taken to the ACT Watch House and was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, where bail will be opposed.
