ACT Policing is appealing for further witnesses to an assault in Wanniassa on Thursday evening (February 17).
At around 11.00pm a male was assaulted outside the Maram Nightclub, Wanniassa, when another male is alleged to have thrown a glass at the victim’s head and assaulted him.
Witness reports indicate that there were two groups of people in the nightclub around 11pm. There was a verbal exchange between the two groups – one group then moved outside to the front of the nightclub. The offender followed the group outside and threw a glass at the victim resulting in facial injuries.
The victim is in a stable condition in Canberra Hospital.
