Drowning at Pine Island

I was wondering why Southcare was hanging around Tuggeranong for longer than usual yesterday. Now I know.

Police media have confirmed a 16 year old boy drowned. Very sad.

I can confirm there were lots of emergency services vehicles down there last night till at least 9.30pm. A helecopter went that way around 6pm so something happened. Very sad if someone has lost their life there.

I knew this kid, saw him today in woden. sad sad thing to happen. he was 16. way to young R.I.P

He’s now confirmed – dead body was found, 16 & attended CIT. RIP.

It is incredibly sad. My thoughts are with his family and all of his young friends.
