ACT Policing has won the second Battle of the Badges at the Camp Quality Verti-COOL Challenge last Friday (February 25).
ACT Policing won the race with a median time of 14min 3sec. ACT Fire Brigade came a close second with a time of 14min 33sec. ACT Ambulance Service came third with a time of 14 min 44sec.
Deputy Chief Police Officer Bruce Hill graciously thanked the competitors for their hard work and everyone who donated to the worthy cause.
“It was a great way for ACT emergency services members to meet and socialise with each other, while raising money for children with cancer,” Deputy Chief Police Officer Hill said.
“It was tough this time round with all five badges competing for the title, but as expected, ACT Policing proved too strong for the others.”
The challenge up the 403 Telstra Tower stairs was in support of Camp Quality.
