ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a robbery at Garran Pharmacy yesterday morning (Sunday 6 March).
Around 11.30am a man entered the Garran Pharmacy at the Brindabella Specialist Centre and demanded the female employee give him several prescription medications.
The man told the woman he was carrying a syringe but stated if she did as he asked he would not hurt her.
The woman complied and he fled the store carrying numerous prescription packages. The victim was not harmed during the incident.
The offender is described as in his late 20s, slim build, wearing a black coloured motorcycle jacket and black pants and a black and white full face motorcycle helmet.
Witnesses who were near the specialist centre at the time of the incident and may have seen the offender, or someone matching this description, are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
