Peak hour sunset. Images of Canberra

I really love it when the sky looks like that. Glad somebody else in this town appreciates it. Often I will just stand and watch for a while while everybody around me seem to go about their day totally oblivious.

Funny about mobile phone usage – I have little fits in my car when I see others using mobile phones while driving – its worse when they are driving cars that cost over 6 figures to buy. We were stopped at the lights for ages before they turned green (about the time I took the shot) which gave me enough time to take the lens cap off and turn the camera on to take the shot!
Now all I need is a blue light so I can pull over the dozen mobile phone users I see every day!

Well of course it was – you can’t hold a full size SLR camera when you already have a beer in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other. Sheesh.
