ACT Policing is responding to an attempted aggravated robbery at Hughes Shops (Monday, September 19) which occurred this afternoon.
About 2.35 pm a man entered the Hughes Post Office with a knife and what appears to be a replica firearm, demanding money. When refused, the offender fled the scene, leaving the weapons behind.
