Just looking out my window in Civic, I saw what looks like a small plane over towards the airport towing a red banner.
Way to far off in the distance to make it out.
Anyone know what it said?

Maybe it was a new roadside assist company towing a crippled ultralight back to the airport for a refuel.

Isn’t fighting dementia about as useful as fighting the aging process?
If they’re actually fighting for better care for dementia patients, then I think they need to be more clear.
Apparently the effects can be mitigated with a variety of treatments.
Which does suggest with more research even more can be done.
There is excellent research to suggest that exercise can help delay the onset of dementia
It was *ThatUniStudent* reminding us she attends university, ANU in fact.

Wouldnt surprise me if it was a Fight Dementia banner, there is a related march on today I believe. Plus all that other stuff on the banner too.

Noticed that the dementia march was using the raised fist as a logo… seems a bit shortsighted given all the uprising and real protests around the world at the moment.
Between the username, the injured leg and the observation of the world through a (rear?) window, this thread has taken a decidedly Hitchcockian tone.

On one side is a protest about the amount of poles in Civic, on the other side is a protest about the speed limit on Gungahlin Drive and on the actual plane there is a protest about barking dogs in Canberra, not for or against them mind, just a general protest about them.
