A 29-year-old Phillip man will face that ACT Magistrates Court today after police arrested him following the execution of a search warrant on his home early this morning (Monday, December 12).
Police will allege the man broke into a home in O’Connor between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Sunday, December 11. Once inside the man has proceeded to an upstairs bedroom and filmed himself on camera, performing a lewd act. The man left the home, leaving the camera behind.
Within a short time police were able to identify the man and a search warrant was executed at his home. A number of items were seized as evidence.
At the conclusion of the search warrant, the man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House.
He will face court today charged with burglary and theft. Police will be opposing bail.
