One more things I’ve missed (mentioned elsewhere, but it’s always nice to have these in one place):
The first Improvisational Challenge is on at the Street Theatre tonight – 8pm – Full Price only $15. Concession $12. If these guys can keep up the level I’ve seen from the Theatresports mob in Sydney, it should be an entertaining night…
In the local theatre side of things:
When in Rome (at Theatre 3 – Canberra Rep’s main stage) has its final performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday (matinee and evening) – Tickets are $27/$23 (or $17 if you mention the advertisement that’s on “Offprompt”)
King Lear also finishes after performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (no matinee Saturday this week, yay for me!) at the ANU Arts Centre at 7:30 each night (just opposite the ANU Bar) – tickets are a flat $15.
Plus “Men” by Brendan Cowell (he played Todd the handyman in the first few years of “Life Support”) opened at the Street Theatre Studio last night – it runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week at 8:30 with a Saturday matinee at 2:30, and Wednesday-Saturday next week – tickets are $19/15.
