ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a burglary that occurred in Franklin last weekend where $100,000 worth of jewellery and watches was stolen.
The burglary at a house in Ellinor Walker Street, Franklin, is believed to have taken place between 8.00pm on Friday, September 21 and 7pm on Sunday, September 23.
The offender(s) stole a number of items including a pair of brilliant cut diamond earring studs valued at $21,000 and a white gold diamond ring set with one brilliant cut diamond valued at $17,000. A sum of cash was also stolen during the burglary.
Anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity last weekend around Ellinor Walker Street in Franklin, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
