Big Bandidos weed bunker bust near Goulburn

An associate of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang has been arrested and charged after police raided a property near Goulburn seizing $4million dollars of cannabis yesterday.

About 11:45am, Thursday 8 November 2012, officers attached to Goulburn Local Area Command attended a rural property on Oallen Ford Road, Oallen.

Police conducted a search warrant at the property where they allegedly discovered 2,006 cannabis plants being hydroponically grown inside a shed and an underground bunker.

Officers also located and seized a large amount of fertiliser and equipment allegedly used in the cultivation of the cannabis.

Police will allege the cannabis has an estimated potential street value of $4million.

A 25-year-old man, who police will allege is an associate of the Bandidos OMCG, was arrested on the property and taken to Goulburn Police Station.

He was charged with enhanced indoor cultivation for commercial purposes, cultivate prohibited plant (large commercial quantity) and organise/assist/conduct drug premises and refused bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court today (Friday 9 November 2012).

Two other men who were located on the property were spoken to by police and released without charge pending further investigations.

I’m not sure that the colour of the President’s skin has anything to do with anything, ..

A major motivating factor in prohibiting Cannabis was a purely racist desire to criminalise the black community.

Sound familiar to anyone? Mind you, if the big tobacco companies get onboard, none of the above concerns will be an issue at all, will they? Product diversity is the name of the game, and I am sure that many of these large tobacco corporations will be more than happy to put their name on the packets of Australia’s finest green leaf. Just hope and pray that 50 years down the track people don’t start whinging “but I didn’t know it was harmful – nobody warned me, I want compensation, etc”.

Yeah, most of the pot smokers I have met are the most relaxed and easy going people around – just don’t expect them to have a very good short-term memory for anything that is actually important or be very reliable at work if they’ve been moderate to heavy users for much of their life.

I’m not sure that the colour of the President’s skin has anything to do with anything, but things are changing dramatically over there with various states legalising marijuana and gay marriage. It’s so embarrassing to be left so far behind by the US!

Speaking of which, I see they’ve given Julia a slapping for cutting defence spending. Expect to see the cuts reversed very quickly.

…instead of costing us the wages of 17 police for the several days (some of them months) they will be working on the Bandidos lair.

It’s funny – we had this stupid, unworkable, and utterly failed prohibition foisted on us by the Yanks, and it’s american States that are taking on the DEA and Federal government over this, while we do nothing to fix this stupid policy.

Duh! The dangers are entirely a direct result of the failed policy, not of the drug the failed policy was aimed at.
