Berra Bars, Canberra’s weekly hip hop night, will be taking place once again at Squeaky Clean on Thursday. Expect sets from beatmaker NewBorn and Sydney rapper Brezie, as well as local artists taking the stage with the open mic.
Smith’s Alternative is celebrating 10 years since their grand reopening with a mini festival brimming with local talent. Zambezi Sounds, Brass Knuckle Brass Band, Snake Oil Preachers, The Cashews and many more will take to the Smith’s stages across Friday and Saturday.
Elsewhere, Sarah Blasko will be bringing her Double Feature tour to the Canberra Theatre on Friday, atmospheric outfit Acopia will be stopping in at Gang Gang on Saturday, and Melbourne punks Porpoise Spit are set to head to Smith’s on Sunday.
