Olivia Uebergang has proven to be one of the city’s brightest musical talents in recent years. She’ll be performing a mix of original compositions and re-worked standards as part of her Honours recital at Smith’s Alternative on Thursday evening.
Conducted by Jessica Cottis, the Canberra Symphony Orchestra will be presenting The Planets at Llewellyn Hall on Wednesday and Thursday. The program will feature works from Murashkin, Strauss and, of course, Holst.
One of the country’s most revered rock bands, The Church, is heading back to the capital this week as part of their career retrospective, The Singles tour. Catch them at Canberra Theatre on Sunday.
