Nominations are sought for the 2013 Canberra Citizen of the Year Award and the Chief Minister’s Canberra Gold Award.
The Citizen of the Year Award, which is sponsored by The Canberra Times, will be presented by Chief Minister Katy Gallagher on 12 March 2013 – Canberra’s 100th birthday.
Nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award are open to outstanding individuals and groups in any field, including the arts, health, education, community work, sport and business.

Canberrans are encouraged to nominate family members, friends and colleagues who have lived in Canberra for 50 years or more for a Chief Minister’s Canberra Gold Award, which acknowledges the long-term commitment of individuals, sporting and community groups, and businesses to the ACT.
