An 18-year-old man has been arrested following an incident at the underground car park of Coles Manuka, Flinders Way Griffith last night (Monday, January 14).
Around 10.45pm the 18-year-old followed a woman to her car. While she was seated in her vehicle the man performed an act of indecency.
A witness provided police with a still image she had taken on her mobile phone earlier in the evening having suspected the man was acting suspiciously.
Police attended the location where they identified an 18 year-old man matching the witness and victim’s description. He was conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with an act of Indecency Without Consent.
He was bailed from the ACT Watch House last night and will appear in court on January 29.
