Dog of the Week: Sunny
Sunny is a beautiful 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a lively spirit and lots of potential. She’s energetic, affectionate and ready to learn, and would make a wonderful companion for the right family.
Sunny thrives on attention and activity, but she’s best suited to a quieter home where she can build confidence and settle into a routine. Her intelligence and enthusiasm mean she’ll benefit from further training, and with the proper guidance, she’ll grow into a loyal and devoted dog.
If you’re looking for a young dog with energy to match your lifestyle and are excited to help her reach her potential, Sunny could be the perfect match for you.

Ciabatta needs a bit of extra care but has love to give. Photo: RSPCA ACT.
Cat of the Week: Ciabatta
Ciabatta is a special older ginger boy who has captured the hearts of staff and volunteers. He has a unique look following dental surgery, and a gentle, chatty nature that makes him a favourite around the shelter.
Ciabatta is diabetic and FIV+, and his conditions are currently well managed with specialised food and oral medication. He will require ongoing medical care from his new owner, but his affectionate personality and companionship make that extra care worthwhile.
This sweet boy isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s time for his lunch, and he enjoys human company and being part of a calm routine. Ciabatta is looking for an extra-special home where his needs can be understood and supported.
If you’re interested in Ciabatta, come and have a chat with him today.
