An elderly male pedestrian has died a week after he was hit by a car being driven by a 94-year-old woman.
He is the sixth road-related fatality for the ACT this year. His death follows that of a 26-year-old man who died earlier this week.
ACT Policing originally said officers were called to a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Ellenborough Street in Lyneham, near the northern intersection with Cossington Smith Crescent, around 4:30 pm on 17 February.
Paramedics treated the 89-year-old pedestrian at the scene before he was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
