ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault in Richardson yesterday (Saturday, February 16).
Around 11.50am, a 29-year-old man was walking on a footpath adjacent Clift Crescent, Richardson (near the Richardson IGA) when he was assaulted by a man who claimed to have a knife.
The alleged offender left on foot with a packet of cigarettes and a bottle of Red Eye energy drink. The victim was unharmed in the incident.
The alleged offender is described as Pacific Islander or Maori in appearance, aged in his late teens to early 20’s, about 173cm (5’8”) in height, about 70 kilograms in weight and had black hair that was short all over but long at the back.
He had brown coloured eyes and patchy facial hair similar to a goatee. He was wearing a short sleeve black t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath. The black t-shirt had white or yellow writing on the front and a picture of a motorcycle.
