ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to a home invasion in Kambah earlier this morning (Wednesday, February 20).
Between 1.25 am and 1.55 am, two men have entered the residence of a 73-year-old man. The men have assaulted the elderly man in his bedroom before making a number of demands for money.
The men left shortly after with the man’s wallet.
The elderly man was taken to The Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are interested in speaking to any members of the public who travelled along Boddington Crescent, Kambah between 1 – 2 am, or may have recently seen persons acting suspiciously in the area.
