ACT Policing is seeking the driver of a four door white or silver sedan which was involved in an incident in Kingston this afternoon (February 19).
Around 4.00pm a 20-year-old female was seen by witnesses to be running from the Kingston IGA onto the pedestrian crossing on Giles Street where she was hit by a vehicle.
The vehicle stopped and the female driver got out of the vehicle. By this time the 20-year-old female had continued down Trent Street towards Telopa Park. The driver returned to her vehicle and left the scene.
A witness called an Ambulance and the female pedestrian was taken to Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are urging the driver of the above vehicle and anyone who witnessed the incident and has further details to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
