Word reaches us that April’s Caravan, beloved itinerant vintage clothing providores of the Inner North, have after some false starts found a permanent home at Lyneham shops.
As the gallery space at The Front has now been returned to the art world, April’s Caravan has found a new home in Lyneham around the corner at 5 Hall Street, which will be opening on Saturday 26 November.
April’s Caravan stocks everything from 1940s satin gowns to 1980s lurid knitwear, sweet spring frocks for the lasses and rockin’ summer shirts for the lads, two and three piece suits, vintage kiddy clothes, an alluring assortment of accessories and a dazzling array of kitschenware.
In a first for vintage in the capital, April is also now offering a seven day hire service at very reasonable rates for those who are in the mood to glam up for an event or two.
