ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the burglary of a Dickson bar on Challis Street between 11.45pm on Wednesday (November, 6) and 8.50am on Thursday (November, 7).
About 8.50am on Thursday a staff member arrived at Barcode and after unlocking the secured premises noticed that a number of large items of audio equipment were missing. Given the size and bulky nature of these items a large van or truck would have been required to remove them from the premises.
Police will review any available CCTV footage from surrounding businesses.
Police would like to urge anyone who may have seen a large truck/van or anyone behaving suspiciously in the Dickson area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information may be provided anonymously.
You can become involved in protecting your local community by joining your local branch of Neighbourhood Watch. Go to www.nhwact.com.au for more information.
